Eight Okonomiyaki - [Voice/Action]
Dec. 14th, 2011 09:44 amI wanted to let everyone know that Ucchan's Okonomiyaki will be closed until after the draft. I'm going this time so there won't be anyone around to mind the shop. But I'm still open today if anyone wants something before we leave.
[True to her word, Ukyo will be in the shop cooking today instead of making any last minute fighting preparations. She's pretty confident in her skills and she's more worried about seeing children's names on the list than any concern for herself. Anyone willing to brave the snow will find that the restaurant hasn't been spared the Malnosso's "cheer" with a fair amount of decorations she didn't even get to place and mistletoe hanging not only over the entrance but from a couple of other spots inside as well.
When she's got free time, there's some other business she needs to address too.]

[Of course the sudden call for fighting might put a damper on those plans, but Ukyo's trying to be positive about the whole situation. After that, it's more personal and only when there's no one around to catch her asking.]

[When Ukyo woke up this morning, it wasn't in her apartment over her shop in Tokyo but in the bedroom of her apartment and for some reason it hit her like a ton of bricks. Not that she could quite put her finger on why it depressed her so much, but the gloom settled on her like a cloud. In the back of her mind, she knows it's her birthday and she wasn't expecting to be here that long. But she's not quite realized that's essentially what her problem is.
So when she attempts to fix some breakfast and burns the rice and ruins the miso, Ukyo realizes that opening her shop for the day, or forever the way she feels, would be utterly stupid. She'd be feeding people horrible food and that's just unacceptable.
She marches over to the shop just long enough to tack a CLOSED notice on the front door, then trudges inside to mope. Eventually she'll make her way back to the apartment for more pity party.]

Six Okonomiyaki - [Voice/Action]
Nov. 3rd, 2011 06:37 pm[Being in the hands of experimenting Malnosso is not fun. Doing it for a month is worse. It was Ukyo's first round of being taken, and she's far from pleased. To add insult to injury, they've dumped her off in the fountain, so she's sopping wet and aching all over. This will not prevent her from retrieving her spatula and attempting to go get herself a heaping dish of revenge. Good luck with that Ucchan.]

[What residents of the village will find this fine day is one angry, soggy chef stomping home for her weapons. A cross-dressing chef who doesn't quite realize she's in a female body. Or that for the moment she thinks she's truly a guy.

All the boys sharing the apartment with her will find Ukyo sitting up, sulking and moping about something jabbing her in the back all night and getting no sleep at all.]

Aug. 10th, 2011 10:55 pm[Ukyo's tied up most of the day running the okonomiyaki shop, although it's not quite as busy for her as it is during the New Feather rush. Anyone looking for a quick meal will find her willing and eager to whip up something good.
In her spare time, she tosses out a quick message for Goku, although Ryoga should have a part in it eventually. Anyone else is welcome to comment on their plans if they like.]
Goku, sugar? I was thinking. Ryoga mentioned maybe going camping some time. How would you like to do that this weekend? I think the rain's good and over. What do you think?

2nd Okonomiyaki [Action/Voice]
Apr. 9th, 2011 09:58 am[Ukyo's been busy since returning to her normal size and shape. Less fur, more sight, two hands to work with. She's located an empty shop in the village and claimed it for herself. Anyone passing by the old empty restaurant ran by Near will find a young lady hard at work wiping surfaces, bringing in ingredients, and rearranging the seating to her liking. No sliding door, but she'll make it as much her own as she can. Slips of paper are hanging on the walls offering her specialties in a neat and efficient script. Once she's satisfied with the setup within, she sets out her kanban announcing herself as an okonomiyaki establishment, and hangs her noren over the door signifying she's open for business. The blue cloth looks just like the one hanging at her shop in Tokyo and proudly proclaims the location as 'Ucchan's.']
I wanted to announce the grand opening of Ucchan's Okonomiyaki. Best okonomiyaki you'll ever taste.
[Until late into the evening, Ukyo'll be hard at work cooking for the masses in her shop, although she's happy enough to be working to hum quietly as she does.]

1st Okonomiyaki [Accidental Voice/Action]
Mar. 10th, 2011 09:16 pm[There's a loud splash as something, namely Ukyo, is dumped unceremoniously into the lake. There's more as she wades to the shore and then her angry diatribe starts up full force.]
Hey! Whoever you are, show yourself! You got a lotta nerve pulling a prank like this!
[She gasps and claps her hands over her chest when she realizes that she's in a skimpy sundress and it's clinging to her all too female attributes.]
And stealin' someone's clothes too! I know you're behind this Shampoo. Stop hiding and get out here! We're going to settle this once and for all.
[She reaches behind her shoulder for her battle spatula to deliver a sound beating to the Chinese girl as soon as she shows up, only to find feathers.]
Wha- what the heck are these things? Where's my spatula?!
